Living with Your Self
How beliefs can change your behavior
I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, but there’s a new Netflix series starring Paul Rudd and co-starring… Paul Rudd. It’s called “Living with Your Self” and it’s about… well, Paul Rudd. And he’s living… with Paul Rudd.
I do realize I’ve written about tiny little Ant Man before. But this time, it’s actually got to do with real life.
The premise of the show “Living with Your Self” is that the main character, Miles, is cloned. While the clone, or Miles 2 for our purposes here, is identical to Miles 1 genetically, his attitude is completely different. And because of that attitude change, there’s this unspoken understanding from all of the people who know Miles 1 and Miles 2 that Miles 2 is somehow a completely new and different person.
Which got me thinking.
What does Miles 2 have that Miles 1 is missing?
He has all the same memories and genetic material as Miles 1.
He doesn’t have, however, the actual going through of the events he remembers.
